This month would have been my mom's 63rd birthday. Happy Birthday mom. I miss you. Loosing a parent is not a fun thing! Enjoy your parents. You never know when they won't be there any more. We are getting together this Sunday to celebrate her birthday, and share fun memories of her. She was always so full of life and willing to help others. Some day I'll see her again and I can't wait! This is my mom with my Brandon. Man has he changed.

This past month has been busy and after many different people telling my to update my blog, I finally did. I need to get pictures of my kids playing football and soccer. I love watching my kids play sports. Stephen is now Hailey's soccer coach, and we play the first game under Stephen tomorrow. Tyson plays one of his last three games on Wed, and then Trevor wants to start fencing. Life is definately crazy. I'll try to remember to take the camera and post picture next week of my kids.

I just wanted to say the if any of you have the opportunity to see Henry Poole was Here, go see it. It is a great little movie. Luke Owen is in it, and he does a great job. I kept waiting for it to get funny, but it never did. My husband and I had some very thought provoking conversations about religion after the movie. I thought it was good! Has anyone else seen it?

Okay, after a very busy and long month, my kitchen is finally to this point. Isn't it beautiful? We still have a lot to do, backsplash, vent the over the range hood to outside, and some finishing touches to the kitchen cabinets (as you can see). I will have to send more pictures when they are all done. I love my kitchen! It is amazing to see the difference. I love it! Can I say it again, I love it!

I have been busy this past year updating my house. I finished my living room last year. Here's a picture of our living room at Christmas. I did the walls, Stephen did the floors, and we both did the crown molding. It was a lot of fun. I love the way the room turned out. Maybe I'll post a before and after, if I can find a before.

I was going through some of my pictures, and found this one. Last year for Christmas, we had Santa come at 7:00 in the morning, on Dec 8th. He gave each of my children a gift which spelled out the words, "Go pack your bags, we're going to Disneyland!" They were all very excited and promptly went to pack. We left for California a couple hours later. It was one of the best Christmas breaks we've ever had! This is a picure of our family with the Disneyland Santa.

Okay, I am going to try to import pictures to show you my kitchen, and the current mess we are living in. It will be like this for another week...no sink. I feel like I am camping, only worse. I can't wait to get it done, it will be so nice! So much better than what I had before! There is still a lot of work to do, but hopefully it won't be too bad! So, here goes!

Hey all,

I am currently sitting in a mess, and have been for the past three weeks. My kitchen is completely ripped apart. We are living on about 4 feet of counter space, surrounding my sink, gratefully my oven, dishwasher, and fridge still work. I am hoping that tomorrow my cabinet guy will be in to start the installation process. We'll see. My computer is acting up, so I don't know if I can put pictures in but, I will as soon as I can.

I went and saw Moma Mia about a week ago and loved it. It was patterned very much after the Broadway musical. I thought Meril Strep did a fantastic job. I found myself crying off and on throughout the movie. I want to see it again, maybe I will!

I also last week picked up the book, "Breaking Dawn" by Stephanie Meyer. It was over 700 pages. I read the entire book in three days. I couldn't put it down. I didn't love the previous three books but, I loved this last book! It was completely unexpected for me and held my attention the entire time. I am now waiting for the movie to come out. Maybe I'll reread the other books and see if my opinion of the first three change any.

We'll off the mud and tape in my kitchen...hopefully he will be here tomorrow. I want to be completely ready for him if he shows up!
